Kelly and I had so much fun planning this awesome First Birthday photoshoot set in the beautiful Ruff Wood near Ormskirk since the very first day we met to photograph their adorable Nancie at only a few weeks old. They have been such a wonderful family to work with and I’ve got to know them so well over this last year and it was the icing on the cake to celebrate in Style on location, balloons and all! Andy arrived in the morning with a car full of beautiful pink balloons (for kelly) to happily skip around with on our walk round the beautiful woodland. I think she was more excited than Nancie!
The sunshine burst through the clouds just as we started our walk and the magic began. Kelly and Andy are such wonderful parents and I wanted to celebrate that in every picture I took…and the incredible light! We finally made our way out of the forest into the most gorgeous vista…thanks to a delightful farmer with Kelly eager to take the balloons home with her! The gorgeous family finally took their moment to release them into the beautiful blue sky and we all stood watching them peacefully drift up into the atmosphere and wondering who in Southport and the North west area would end up with them in their garden!
I love getting to know my clients and I’m so excited about the amount of amazing locations and families still to meet. I was so sad to see them leave and know we will keep in touch. It is such a privilege to witness and capture the most amazing moments and relationships in our lives and I am the luckiest person in the world! Thank you so much Kelly, Andy & Nancie Xxx
